My name is Tesni Calennig, I’m from the Llyn Peninsula, North Wales and I'm the designer-maker. I first tried my hands on silversmithing when I was 17 in 2019 and was mostly self-taught until I started studying 3D design and craft at the University of Brighton. There sparked my interest in blacksmithing and furniture design. My work is symbolic and is often directed by narrative, particularly Welsh folk tales, traditions and craft. I also find inspiration from the beautiful landscapes and nature found in North Wales, the ever-changing seasons and Celtic heritage.
Let's Talk Sustainability!
your orders are posted with boxes that are 100% recyclable cardboard, sealed with water-activated paper tape. No need to remove it — just pop the whole box straight in the recycling.
My jewellery boxes are made in Denmark to keep transport emissions low. They’re FSC®-certified natural cardboard, glued with water-based adhesive, and padded by hand with hessian fabric from local cafes instead of plastic foam.
Every piece is made from scratch using eco-silver from Cooksongold.
Gemstones are ethically sourced, often bought directly from lapidary artists in Australia, India, and Sri Lanka.
I use wood from naturally fallen or coppiced trees here in North Wales, and as much salvaged metal I can find! I'm currently working to cut back on coal and gas — keeping traditional forging alive while reducing my footprint.
