Sawing and Soldering - beginner jewellery workshop

Monday 27th October, 17:30–20:00 at Crefft Migldi Magldi, Cei Llechi, Caernarfon

Join for an evening of creativity in the forge as you learn two of the most fundamental techniques in jewellery making — sawing and soldering.

In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll work with brass (mostly with sterling silver links and earrings) a gold-coloured metal that’s ideal for experimenting and learning new skills that doesn't stain your skin like copper. You’ll design and make your own finished pendant or pair of earrings or keyring that you can take home!

Before the workshop, we ask that you come with an idea or simple design of what you'd like to make so we can make the most of our time together. You’ll then:

1. Learn how to safely saw your design out of brass sheet
2. Solder on earring pins or pendant links
3. File, sand, and polish your piece ready to wear home

All tools and materials are provided — just bring your creativity and clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty!

This course is a part of a 6 week jewellery workshop series, you can book them individually or book the whole set of workshops for a discount! There are only 6 available slots so book fast!

If you cancel 7 days before the workshop you are eligible for a 50% refund, as places are very limited and materials are prepared in advance. Or your ticket can be transferred to another person
